Breastfeeding Basics Class- Ascension St. Vincent Women's Hospital - In Person
This one-session introduction to breastfeeding focuses on techniques for initiating nursing during the early weeks with your newborn and maintaining a successful breastfeeding experience.
Discussion includes: benefits for both mom and baby, latching, positioning, returning to the workplace, information on breast pumps and other available lactation services is included.
Dads/Support person is strongly encouraged to attend; registration includes both mom and her care partner. We recommend you attend this class at least 30 days before your due date.
Class registration is non-refundable however, we would be happy to move you to another class with 72 hours notice.
