**Please note: Information covered in this Childbirth Series is based on Lamaze Principals and offers a more extensive learning experience to prepare mom and her support person for the experience of labor and birth. This is a series of three, 3-hour classes. Whereas our Childbirth Preparation Overview Class provides more general information on the birth process and your hospital stay. The Overview Class is one, 3-hour class. You should attend one or the other, but not both***

Childbirth is a normal, natural and healthy process that profoundly affects a woman and her family. In this class series you will discover strategies that will help prepare you for the birth of your baby. This class offers an in-depth learning experience based on the Principals of Lamaze and will prepare both mom and her support person for the challenges of labor and birth.

Topics include: · Healthy birth practices · Labor support techniques · Breathing and relaxation techniques · Medications.

Materials: Please bring 2-3 bed pillows and a blanket or comforter (for breathing exercises) and wear comfortable pants.

Registration includes both mom and care partner. Class registration is non-refundable, however, we would be happy to move you to another class with 72 hours notice.

*It is recommended that you have this class completed 30 days before your due date.
