Baby Boot Camp - Level II Neonatal Care
This 2-day program provides key concepts related to level II neonatal care. Using a mixed learning format, attendees will participate in didactic sessions, skills sessions, and simulations focused on stabilization and ongoing care of infants born at 32 weeks gestation or greater as well as emergent stabilization measures for infants needing transfer to a higher level of care. Topics include care of the late preterm infant, common respiratory disorders of the neonate, respiratory management, neurodevelopmental care, thermoregulation of the at risk infant, IV access, pneumothorax management, and more. This class is intended for all disciplines caring for infants in level II non- Ascension nursery settings, (physicians, APRNs, RNs, and respiratory therapy).
Completing this course does not authorize the participant to add any skill discussed in the content to your practice if this function is not included in your current scope of practice. This course does not validate competency on any skills contained
