This Heartsaver CPR AED Course is a Blended Learning Course.  After completing the online portion of this course, you must complete a hands-on session with an Instructor to obtain a course completion card.

Heartsaver CPR AED is geared for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED is to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements.  Upon successful completion of the course students receive a course completion card valid for two years.  

The Heartsaver CPR AED Skills Session is the last step of the Heartsaver CPR AED blended learning course. Participants bring their certificate of completion from the online portion of Heartsaver® CPR AED and complete a hands-on skills session practice and evaluation.

You must register for both courses listed below in Step 1 and Step 2.

Step 1:  To register for the online portion, Click here to visit the AHA registration page. $16.00 / person AHA online purchase.
a) Complete the online course. 
    IMPORTANT NOTE: All of the modules below must be completed BEFORE printing your certificate!
     1) Survivor Story (Superintendent)
     2) Hand-Only CPR
     3) Adult CPR AED and Choking Relief
     4) Child CPR AED and Choking Relief - [This module is NOT optional for teachers]
     5) Drug Overdose
     6) Water Safety
     7) Heart Attack
     8) Stroke
b) Complete the course evaluation.
c) Print out a copy of your Completion Certificate to bring to class.  

Step 2:  Complete the registration below to enroll for an in-person skills certification session held at the William K Nasser Health Education & Simulation Center.  

Please note there are 2 Fees associated with this course:
1) There is a $16.00 fee paid directly to AHA for the online AHA Heartsaver CPR AED course.
2) There is a $40.00 fee for the In-person Skills Certification Session.

A full refund will be given for any class cancelled by the Ascension St. Vincent Nasser Health Education and Simulation Center.
